Jeremy Gordon

Seattle Pianist Jeremy GordonJeremy Gordon is a jazz pianist, music teacher, and composer based in Seattle. His musical experience stretches over 20 years and includes performances on cruise ships, at US Embassies abroad, and in clubs and studios across the United States.

Prior to moving to Seattle, Jeremy lived in Washington, DC from 2008-2012 where he managed and led the Twelfth Street Jazz Project. His group performed across the DC metropolitan area in local restaurants, clubs, and at the DC Jazz Festival. Jeremy has spent several years performing at sea on cruise ships, as a keyboardist, pianist with the showband, as well as filling the role of Music Director for onboard entertainment. Jeremy has been hired to perform at Ambassador’s Residences and at the US Embassy in Georgia for official events. In addition to jazz, he is well versed in latin, pop, holiday music, showtunes, and classical styles of music, having performed as a bandmember with various groups in the Washington DC metro area.

Jeremy earned a BA from The George Washington University with a minor in Jazz Studies. At GW Jeremy performed with the advanced jazz quintet, latin jazz ensemble, and big band ensemble. During graduate school at Syracuse University he was the lead pianist with the Syracuse Jazz Ensemble. He has received performance awards from the University of Northern Colorado Jazz Festival and Denver Jazz Festival.

Jeremy is available for hire as a pianist for weddings, private parties, holiday-themed events, corporate events, ensemble performances, and songwriting.
